About My Web Site

This website was developed both for my patients and my colleagues. Twenty three years ago it became evident to me that in order for me to perform quality dentistry, my patients had to understand the treatment plan I was recommending. Knowing that "a picture is worth a thousand words," I began to photograph my work. I collected and arranged these photographs in a book that I used to teach my patients about the need for certain treatment plans and the results that could be expected.

With my own patients I proved that if I could show them certain work needed to be done and then prove to them I could do the work, they would in fact let me do it. Having to explain each of the photographs often consumed too much time, so I began adding text to cover most of the basic information a patient required to fully appreciate the photographs. After twenty years of photography and five years of writing, Keep Your Smile Beautiful! became a reality and is now a website.

To my patients and anyone who is a dental patient: I hope this website will enlighten you as to what dentistry has to offer and will help you make intelligent decisions about your teeth and mouth. To my colleagues: please use this website to educate your patients. Prove to them that work is needed and that you can do the work, and you will be very busy keeping smiles beautiful.
